As the Official Travel Office, we get a guaranteed allocation of tickets each year for various events, offering spectacular views of the performances and fireworks. Our standard packages include tickets for the Street Party or Concert in the Gardens and other events may be available as optional add-ons once the full Event Programme is announced.

EDINBURGH’S HOGMANAY STREET PARTY
Tuesday 31 December 2024 – into the New Year, 9pm – 12:45am (Gates Open 8pm)
The world-famous Edinburgh’s Hogmanay Street Party returns to the historic city centre, to once again light-up the Edinburgh skies, at one of the world’s greatest New Year celebrations.
Set against the stunning backdrop of the Edinburgh Castle, this year 45,000 revellers from around the globe, will party their way into 2025 with a feast of entertainment throughout the city centre, including live music, DJ’s, Giant Screens, International Street Theatre, Pipers, Drummers, funfair attractions, delicious street food & drink throughout the arena, creating a carnival of light and sound to bring in the New Year.
Edinburgh’s Hogmanay welcomes the return of pyrotechnic wizards Titanium, presenting one of the world’s greatest New Year firework displays, launched for the stunning setting of Edinburgh Castle for an unforgettable firework and light spectacular.

Edinburgh’s Hogmanay are thrilled to announce that Scottish music icons TEXAS will headline the Concert in the Gardens on Tuesday 31 December, welcoming party-people from around the globe to dance their way into 2025 beneath the spectacular back-drop of Edinburgh Castle.
Following a recent run of sell-out arena shows and rave reviews across the UK; including two triumphant sold-out nights at the Glasgow Hydro, Texas’ appearance at Edinburgh’s Hogmanay 2024, makes them the first band to ever headline the festival three times, and marks their first appearance at Edinburgh’s Hogmanay for almost 20 years, having last performed back in 2005.
Fronted by multi award-winning singer-songwriter Sharleen Spiteri, Texas will play beneath the spectacular backdrop of Edinburgh Castle amidst one of the world’s greatest New Year firework displays, performing the last show of 2024 and first of 2025, bringing in the bells with a hit filled set of career spanning anthems including I Don’t Want a Lover, Say What You Want, Halo and Inner Smile.
Joining Texas at the Concert in the Gardens is very special guest Callum Beattie. Edinburgh-born Callum has progressed from busking outside the city’s Usher Hall, to recently selling-out two nights at the iconic venue. A special guest slot at the country’s biggest Hogmanay party, closes a triumphant year for the singer-songwriter, who’s punchy, rousing, emotive and gloriously catchy debut album scored a No.1 in The Official Scottish Albums Chart.
Plus, award-winning comedian Susie McCabe will return to host Concert in the Gardens, leading the country in a countdown to midnight. The winner of 2024’s Sir Billy Connolly Spirit of Glasgow Award, Susie McCabe is one of the country’s most beloved comedians and a fitting host for the night.

Step back in time, as global smash-hit and time-travelling DJ sensation Hot Dub Time Machine returns to Edinburgh’s Hogmanay for the first time in a decade to headline this year’s Night Afore Disco Party, beneath the backdrop of Edinburgh Castle, and marking the Australian DJ’s only UK appearance in 2024.
The Edinburgh Fringe sensation will bring his famous ‘dance through the decades’ audio-visual party to West Princes Street Gardens on Monday 30 December, joined by very special guests The Cuban Brothers and Edinburgh funk trio High Fade.
Since launching in 2011, Hot Dub Time Machine has become a global phenomenon with sell-out shows and festival appearances everywhere from T in the Park to Coachella. The self-proclaimed ‘best. party. ever’ and world’s first time-travelling DJ returns to Edinburgh with a show packed full of non-stop bangers from 1962 to 2024, making it the perfect party night out.
Hot Dub Time Machine will be joined on the Night Afore by legendary music and comedy act The Cuban Brothers, who have played alongside the likes of Prince, Fatboy Slim and more. Having marked their 25th anniversary in 2023, the trio are renowned worldwide for their party-starting skills, funk-fuelled music and hilarious skits and stories.
Plus, Edinburgh’s own High Fade will kickstart the party with their inimitable brand of razor-sharp funk and disco, with their debut album set to be released 20 November, having honed their energetic live shows on a UK-wide tour.
Edinburgh’s Hogmanay is Hot Dub Time Machine’s only UK appearance for 2024, as DJ Tom Lowndes returns to the festival after a previous sold-out appearance at the Edinburgh’s Hogmanay Street Party in 2014.
