Q. What is included in the packages?
A: We offer a minimum of 2 nights’ accommodation in selected City-centre hotels or self-catering apartments, official event tickets, Edinburgh city guide, package delivery and a 24 hour help line when in Edinburgh (if required).
Q. What are the benefits of buying an Edinburgh Hogmanay Travel Office package through Glory Days?
A: We can guarantee our clients official tickets for the Hogmanay events of their choice, particularly for events which sell out quickly.
Unlike a general public sale, clients can confirm event tickets of their choice from one source and have these packaged with a range of hotel options. We take the hassle out of everything for you!
Glory Days have an allocation of all Official event tickets and are officially affiliated with Underbelly and Hogmanay. We are also ATOL protected and located in Edinburgh, meaning you’re in safe hands.
Q. What is the difference between ticket types?
A: The event has many options and please make sure they are suitable for your group. Please note this is an outdoor, late night festival with live music and the Street Party is not recommended for young children (we will update the age limit once it has been announced). Each event will differ and Hogmanay will have something to offer everyone. Please click here for updated ticket information or get in touch if you are unsure.
Q: Can you help us choose the right accommodation option?
A: No problem, we’ve been in Edinburgh since 2001 and seen all the hotels develop. We have visited every option and are happy to be on hand to recommend the best hotel to suit your requirements.
Q: Can you assist with attractions as well as additional Scotland tours?
A: No problem we can provide Q jump tickets and the best advice to explore this wonderful country.
Q: Are you bonded as a travel operator?
A: Absolutely we have ATOL and ABTOT bonding covering flight inclusive and exclusive packages – you’re well covered!
Q: Has Edinburgh celebrations ever been affected by the weather?
A: Every now and then but there is a huge amount going on in the city and the weather adds to the fun!
Q: Do you provide travel insurance?
A: No, all customers are responsible for obtaining appropriate travel insurance for the duration of the trip. It is strongly recommended that this is done at the time of booking and possibly as part of an annual insurance option.
Q: Do you sell ticket only packages?
A: We only sell packages with accommodation but if you want ticket only please go to our partners Edinburgh’s Hogmanay at www.edinburghshogmanay.com
Q: What is required to secure my place?
A: We require a £75 non-refundable deposit and the balance by October 31st. All amounts paid are non-refundable. We accept all methods of payment (with the exception of AMEX and Diners) and are happy to look at payment plans if required.
Please note bank transfer is our preferred method of payment for balance payments in October.
Q: How do I receive my documentation?
A: We will forward by email vouchers as well as full information on your Edinburgh stay.
A full package will be delivered to your hotel with the event tickets prior to your arrival.
We are based in Edinburgh if you have any last minute issues.
